Hi there, Karen here, sharing a Travel Journal created with the New Stateside collection. These papers are perfect for Traveling, Military, and Miss you-themed projects.
Creating fun journals like this are great for road trips and an awesome way to document your adventures (in and out of the car). I look forward to documenting new memories in this journal on our next family trip. I’m including a quick and easy tutorial below.
DCWV Stack/Collection: Stateside
1’ Circle Punch
Xyron Adhesive: The New Creative Station, 1.5” Sticker Maker
Step 1: Trim patterned paper to the size of the journal and run through the New Creative Station.
Step 2: Adhere patterned paper to the front of the journal and sand edges with sanding bar.
Step 3: Trim coordinating patterned paper to layer on the journal. Run through the New Creative Station and adhere to the journal.
Step 4: Trim coordinating patterned paper journaling spots and layer together to create a focal image.
Step 5: Continue trimming desired coordinating patterned paper journaling spots. Run smaller pieces through 1.5” Create a Sticker Machine and layer onto the journal.
Step 6: Adhere focal image with 3D Tape and continue adding coordinating patterned paper journaling spots.
Step 7: Add coordinating patterned paper journaling spots and sand them with sanding bar.
Step 8: Punch half circles using coordinating patterned papers; run through 1.5” Sticker Maker.
Step 9: Adhere punched half circles to desired areas of journal.
Step 10: Add bow, brad and patterned paper tabs.
Step 11: Run die cut through Sticker Maker and adhere to the journal.
